FORMULASI DEODORAN LOSIO EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN BELUNTAS (Pluchea indica L.Less) DAN UJI DAYA HAMBAT TERHADAP Pseudomonas aeroginosa dan Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determined concentration of beluntas extract on deodorant form which most effective as antibacterial. Research method include maseration of beluntas leaves with ethanol 96% as solvent and formulation in three deodorant oil in water type with different concentration of extract 1%, 3% and 5%. The base of formula used as negative control. The inhibition test used passive diffution method using paper disk and incubated for 24 hours. The result showed that extract beluntas leaves could be inhibite the growth of bacteria. The most effective concentration was 1% with inhibity diameter were 9,06 mm to Pseudomonas aureginosa and 9,07 mm to Staphylococcus aureus.
