Abstract

The problem of malnutrition that has received a lot of attention recently is chronic nutritional problems in the form of stunting. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem, meaning that it appears as a result of malnutrition that has accumulated over a long period of time (Pantaleon, M. G., Hadi, H. and Gamayanti, I. 2018). Stunting according to the WHO Child Growth Standard is based on an index of body length compared to age (PB/U) or height compared to age (TB/U) with a limit (z-score) of less than -2 SD. Stunting is associated with an increased risk of morbidity and death as well as stunted growth (Kusuma, 2018). According to the Ministry of Health (2017). Stunting is categorized as follows: very short (z-score <-3 SD), short (-3 SD to <-2 SD), normal (z-score -2 SD to 2 SD) and high (z- score >2 SD). According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the causes of malnutrition have various causal factors if traced from the main problem and do not directly originate from the family. The design used in this research is a correlation analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. The research location was at the Bantimutung Community Health Center, conducted on 16-12 August 2023. The sample in this study was 39 stunted children in the Bantimurung Community Health Center area. Statistical test using the Spearmhan rho test. Based on research that has been carried out regarding the relationship between family health duties and the degree of stunting in stunted children in the Bantimurung health center area, conclusions can be drawn using the Spermean Rho statistical test with a value of p= 0.03, which means there is a relationship between family health duties and the degree of stunting in children. in the Bantimurung Community Health Center area with a value of p = 0.03. From the research results, it is hoped that the Community Health Center can increase knowledge through health promotion for its population in order to prevent the risk of stunting
