Nurses' Actions on Patient Satisfaction in Emergency Room

Nurses are an important profession in providing health services to patients in hospitals, which ultimately contributes to patient satisfaction. The active involvement of nurses in providing high-quality nursing care services significantly increases the achievement of patient satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship between Nurse Actions and Patient Satisfaction in the Emergency Room of the Makassar City General Hospital. This research design is a quantitative study, the research design uses an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study was 308 respondents. Results The data obtained in this study were processed using Univariate and Bivariate tests. The results of this study indicate that nurse actions (88.0%) with a P value = 0.000 indicate that the P value <= 0.05 from the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a relationship between nurse actions and patient satisfaction in the emergency installation room (IGD) of the Makassar City General Hospital. The conclusion of the results of the study regarding the responsiveness action indicator is an action of how quickly the response is given by officers and empathy is an attitude of how to build a relationship and trust in meeting patient satisfaction. Suggestion It is expected that the actions of nurses' responsiveness and empathy are maintained and improved in the application of responsiveness in services and friendly behavior towards patients.
