Abstract

Nurses have a role in disease prevention to reduce the incidence of stroke, in community-based nursing the role of care is as a clinical to help individuals in maintaining and maintaining health, advocates help individuals in making decisions, collaboration, counselor consultation, education/educators, researchers and management. The purpose of this study is the Relationship of Interpersonal Communication with the motivation of nurses in conducting home visits to post-stroke patients. This type of research is quantitative research with a correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study was 29 respondents taken using a total sampling technique implemented in the work area of the Gebe Inpatient Health Center, Central Halmahera Regency. Data collection used a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test with a value of α = 0.05. The results of the study obtained interpersonal communication with a p value = 0.136. The Conclusion This study found no relationship between interpersonal communication and nurses' motivation to conduct home visits to patients after stroke
