Nursing services are professional services or care provided to patients in a humanistic manner, using a holistic approach that is oriented towards the objective needs of patients and refers to professional nursing standards. The purpose of this study was to
determine the relationship between the quality of nursing services and patient satisfaction in the emergency room of Makassar City Hospital. This study was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. The sample for this study consisted of 41 respondents selected using total sampling. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the quality of nursing services and the level of patient satisfaction in the emergency room of Daya Regional General Hospital in Makassar with a p-value of 0.03. It is recommended that the hospital continue to improve the quality of nursing services in the emergency room by prioritizing response speed, empathy, and clear communication.
